I have lived in area for 58 years and have always been involved with local groups, by either joining them or helping to run some of them.

My main hobby is .177 air rifle shooting, and I run the county rifle competitions.

At present I am a trustee of Donnington Partnership and volunteer at the Donnington   community café at the lifelong Learning centre, the volunteers at the centre won the Queens award for volunteers, and I was lucky enough to be presented to the Queen when she visited Cosford. I am also a school Governor.

In the past I have run brownie and guide troops, and taught cooking in schools and community centres. I was runner up in the Shropshire star woman of the year competition.

I have been a Parish Councillor since May 1979 clocking up over 30 yrs. I have served as a Governor on Donnington Wood Junior School for 15 yrs, I believe it is important to have input at the local schools. Sadly I am giving up this position but I am joining The Sutherland Board of Governors. Cllr Clive Mason and I have decided to swap schools as it will give both schools fresh input and ideas.

I am also The T&W Ward Councillor for Donnington and together with Clive Mason work hard to resolve Donnington issues and bring improvements to the Ward.

I was born in 1971 in Donnington and spent all my childhood here. I moved to Wellington for a few years but have been back for the last fifteen years. 2015 is my first year as a local councillor and I’m looking forward to serving the community I was raised in and hopefully making a difference for the future.

I am approachable at any time and I am always keen to listen to people’s views and comments on the best way forward for the community.

I have lived in Donnington since the early 90’s and have been heavily involved in boxing and Scouting.

I joined the council to see if I could help today’s youngsters in any way shape or form; I strongly believe that if we look after today’s kids then we will have a strong community tomorrow

In addition to Council I hold the following offices

President of West Midlands ABA
Auditor of West Midlands ABA
Assistant Secretary of West Midlands ABA
Member of Telford & Wrekin Sports Commission
Member of Scout fellowship
Governor Donnington Wood Primary School

I first came to live in Donnington in the 1950’s. I am married and have four children and numerous grandchildren. I was first elected onto the Parish Council twenty five years ago and have been privileged to be Chair on three occasions. I feel that the future is very promising for the Council, Councillor's and the Parish of Donnington and Muxton where we have seen a steady increase in population.

I have been very involved within the area over the years having served as a Governor at the Sutherland School, Donnington Wood Junior School And Donnington Wood Infants School. I am also a Councillor with Telford and Wrekin Borough Council representing Donnington.

Councillor Lisa Dugmore

I was born and brought up in the local area – I attended St Lawrence School Preston, Charlton School, Wellington and New College, Wellington. I moved away with my job in the early 1990s but returned 10 years ago.
I have 3 children and work as a School Business Manager in a large Primary School in Telford. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and have always been a very active participant with my children’s schools serving as Chair of the PTA for a number of years.
This is my first time serving as a Parish Councillor, but I am looking forward enormously to the many and varied opportunities there will be for me to better understand the workings of my local community and how the key stakeholder groups can work together to make real and lasting improvements to benefit everyone.

My name is Victor Rainsford, I live in a Park Home on Breton Park Muxton, my wife and I moved here from Birmingham in September 200 I, and we hope to remain here as we think that Shropshire is a beautiful County and Muxton is now home to us.

Having been born in 1933, I have lived a long and very varied life. I was educated up 10 what in those days was Secondary School Standard, leaving school in 1949 at the age of 16, my first job was a painter a decorator until I was called up for National Service in I 951, I chose to join the Royal Air Force and did 3 years being demobbed in July 1954, I did my basic training at RAF Bridgnorth. After leaving the RAF I returned to painting and decorating, but I had many jobs as a representative, selling to the public, I worked in a factory as a booking and works estimating clerk, My wife and I spent 5 years as Publicans in the mid 60s, and I finally spent the last 20 years of my working life at Hardy Spicer GKN finishing as a Stores Manager.

Sport played a big part in my younger years, I enjoyed playing football I, cricket and tennis but in later years I have, and still do enjoy playing crown green bowls I met my wife in 1952 Coronation year and married in June 1955, we celebrate our Diamond Wedding in June 2015 (60 years), it has not been all milk and honey but we survived. We had 2 children first a daughter in I 965 then a son in 1971, but unfortunately our son collapsed and died doing a fun run around his school playing fields on 21st June 1986 at the age of 14 years and 7 months, you do not expect to outlive your children but in time you learn to live with it but memories never go away. My daughter has married and we now have 2 lovely granddaughters, one is now 19 and the other is 22 years old both are studying at university and we are proud of them.

I am Chairman/Secretary of the Residents Association Breton Park, also Secretary of the Telford & Wrekin Senior Citizens Forums, Environmental and Transport Action Group, and Chairman of the Breton Park Action Group, who are campaigning stop the building of houses on the green fields of Muxton, and as I have now been elected to be a Councillor on Muxton Parish Council, I have been elected to serve on the Planning Committee and to represent you on the Telford & Wrekin Bus Users Group.

As you have elected me to serve on the Muxton Parish Council I will do my best to ensure that I do my best to make sure that I earn the trust you have in me.
